The integrity of our product is the most important thing at Different Drop. As such, we do not ship wine during periods of extreme heat from our Sydney warehouse and endeavour to avoid periods of extreme heat for the wine’s final destination - you!
However please take note:
With Australia being such a vast and sprawling country, predicting the appropriate delivery times to avoid severe heat in all localities is just not possible. Moreover, while some customers have strict expectations around heat policy, others want their wine delivered as fast as possible and are less concerned with delivery during warmer periods. It is very difficult for us to predict who cares and who does not! We find the best answer to this conundrum is give our customers the control.
If you are concerned that your delivery is likely to occur during a hot period at your delivery location please contact us at email@example.com with your requested ship date and we will hold the dispatch until your specified time. If you want us to wait a few days, a few weeks or a few months, it is no problem at all, just let us know.
Finally, if for whatever reason you believe your wine to be heat affected during transport, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your concern and we will address the matter immediately and work with you to find an appropriate course of action, be that refunds, returns or replacements.
